Facilities and Equipment
The combination of all of the instruments at Wilda Eye Care allow us to detect certain eye health problems at the earliest stages. These instruments include: retinal camera, anterior segment camera, OCT, QuantifEye, and 2 different visual field analyzers. The retinal camera allows us to photograph the back of the eye. We also have a slit lamp video camera that can capture images of the front of the eye. New to our list of instruments is the OCT (Optical Coherence Tomographer). The OCT provides very detailed digital images of the optic nerve, macula and retina in both 2D and 3D views. If you have any concerns about Age-Related Macular Degeneration (ARMD), we have the QuantifEye instrument to measure your risk for developing ARMD. It is a quick, painless, and inexpensive test. We also carry the ZeaVision EyePromise line of supplements to help prevent progression of ARMD. Lastly, visual field testing can be performed with our automated visual field analyzers to allow us to detect any loss of vision in the periphery. Click below for further information about two tests that can help determine retinal health. We have a large selection of frames - we carry over 750 designer frames including Oakley, Ray Ban, Maui Jim, Jimmy Crystal, Bebe, Anne Klein, Calvin Klein, Crocs, Harley Davidson, Converse, Lucky, Ellen Tracy, Jones NY, Izod, Skechers, fashion safety eyewear and many more.
We have extensive knowledge of the best lens technology available. Lens materials, coatings and technologies are changing constantly. We are here to make sure you get the best product available for your eyes. This also helps to provide each patient with completely personalized prescription lenses for the many tasks performed daily.
