Our Awesome Staff
Our staff is trained and knowledgeable in all aspects of the optical field. The staff is caring and ready to help answer any questions you have.
Kaylea - Optometric Assistant and TechnicianKaylea started in March of 2013 here at Wilda Eye Care. What she likes most about being at our office, is being able to pretest the patients before the doctor comes in to the exam room. She enjoys being able to get to know patients better, help them relax and not be nervous about having their eye examination. Kaylea is always ready for a good joke or laugh.
Kaylea has brought much to our office, like: laughter, compassion, dependability, and a wonderful ease with small children. Kaylea is married to Steven and has 3 adorable girls, Katherine, Ava and Emma. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, having family barbecues in the summer, and watching her girls play on the farm. |
Becca - Optometric Assistant and OpticianBecca started in November 2016. At the office, she most enjoys helping patients select frames that best suit their style and lifestyle. Her favorite moments are when when she can find a frame that may be a little outside of the patient's comfort zone and it ends up being the perfect one.
Becca also enjoys developing the selection of frames available at Wilda Eye Care to be as varied as something you might find in a big city. Becca married her high school sweetheart, Andrew Houghton in 2012, who is the assistant director of the Perry Maroon Band. In her spare time, she enjoys attending band activities and supporting the directors and the kids. She also enjoys attending musicals at the civic center, watching movies, reading and writing, and spending time with her family and dogs. |
Dee - Optometric Assistant and ReceptionistDee started in March of 2018 at Wilda Eye Care. Dee enjoys interacting with patients and helping them manage their eye care needs by scheduling appointments, dispensing orders, and answering patients' questions on the phone.
Dee is married to Mike, and they have 4 children: Chase, Gage, Reed, and Breanna. She enjoys spending time with her family and watching movies. Dee is a wonderful asset to our office. |
Robert - Optical Lab TechnicianRobert was pulled out of retirement by his daughter, Dr. Stacey Wilda. He retired from The Charles Machine Works (after 34 years) as a machinist in 2006. Dr. Wilda knew that edging and making lenses fit into frames would be natural for him. He has been here since 2007 providing the exacting skills needed to make quality eye wear. He's our "Go-To Guy" when glasses need fixing.
Robert and his wife, Linda, have 2 daughters (and 2 son-in-laws) and 4 grandchildren. They are avid motorcycle (mostly trike) riders. When he's not in the lab, they are riding all over the state and sometimes the country on their Honda Gold Wing with their Gold Wing Group (Chapter X). |
